Italian Designers in Armenia to Promote Armenia Wine Company Products

Wide open wings reaching the sky, one idea - two visions, inspiration from the Armenian nature, a Biblical mountain and two words: “Armenia Wine”.
This is what attracted the Italian designers to start this creative path with the Armenia Wine company back in 2008, launching a new stage of cooperation, which today already has a 17-year history of success and numerous joint projects brought to life. Today, they are in Armenia to discover the country in all its charm, to see with their own eyes the unique examples of cultural heritage and to begin a new and important period of cooperation with the Armenia Wine company.
"Our cooperation began at the most important point- the company’s logo. We were infinitely inspired by the unconditional aspiration of the Vardanyan and Mkrtchyan families: to create a brand that will speak of excellence and become the symbol of Armenian wine," - says Tommaso Pecioli, founder of the Italian design company Oficina Grafica. "It was from this idea that the logo of the Armenia Wine company was born. One body, two heads, wings striving for perfection, ambitious dreams, the life-giving rays of the Armenian highlands at the top, the national symbol of Mount Ararat at the bottom, and, of course, the two initials "A" and "W". I think we managed to express the company's ideology of creating national value."
Over the past 17 years, Armenia Wine has become a name that tells the world about Armenian wine, spreading the aroma of Armenia throughout the world. This path began with the company's first wine, Armenia, the entry of which into the market became a new page in Armenian winemaking, and it continues to remain in leading positions today.
"When starting the design work for “Armenia” wine, the responsibility was very great. The name of this wine inspired us to study the country, culture, history, and traditions, ensuring care and attention to every detail. We had to create a label that would fully summarize the essence of the name Armenia," says Pecioli.
At the invitation of the Armenia Wine company, Italian designers Tommaso Pecioli and Vincenzo Maccarone are in Armenia. During a three-day working visit, the company’s partners got acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of Armenia, discovered the Armenian nature, participated in the planting of a new vineyard, and had a number of meetings, tastings and discussions. Why did the authors of the “Armenia Wine” logo and the “Armenia” wine design arrive in Armenia after seventeen years?
"It is a great joy to be here and see both Armenia and the Armenia Wine winery with our own eyes. The spirit of the company is the same. Ambitious goals, the desire to get the best result, love and dedication. Now it's time to give a new look to the established and beloved "Armenia" wine. Soon we will begin the work on rebranding the wine. Our approach will be the same: we must carefully and responsibly approach the name "Armenia", preserve the brand image and at the same time convey freshness and new details in line with the spirit of the times," says Pecioli.
