Armenia Gets New Environment Minister

Hakob Simidyan, Armenia’s environment minster since 2017, has been replaced by Hambardzum Matevosyan.

The Armenian government, in a statement, gave no reason for Simidyan’s dismissal.

Matevosyan, a former Armenian deputy prime minister, had been serving as Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan’s chief advisor.
