Armenian Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan, today in Singapore, met with Juan Bautista Mahiques, President of the International Association of Prosecutors, and discussed the possibility of holding the association’s regional conference in Armenia.

Vardapetyan is in Singapore on a working visit to participate in the 30th Annual Conference and General Assembly of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP).

She was elected a candidate for a member of the Executive Committee during the 59th session of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors held in Buenos Aires on April 8, 2025. (Juan Bautista Mahiques also serves as Prosecutor General of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.)

Today, Vardapetyan was elected a member of the association’s Executive Committee.

Vardapetyan, according to her office, thanked the IAP president for the trust and support shown her and emphasized that it is an honor for her to be elected a member of the IAP Executive Committee.
