
Ter-Petrosyan Says Russia, Iran are Armenia's Reliable Friends
Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Armenia’s first president, hosted Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin at his home today in Yerevan and discussed Armenian-Russian relations and the imperative of establishing long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
Ter-Petrosyan, in a FB post emphasized that Russia’s presence in Transcaucasia is an urgent necessity and a reality confirmed by history.
He added that Armenia’s honest and reliable friends are Russia, Iran, Georgia, France, Greece, and in the near future, China and India.
