
Armenian Foreign Minister, NATO Member State Reps Discuss August 8 Agreements
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, today in Yerevan, met with a delegation of permanent representatives of NATO member states stationed in Armenia.
Mirzoyan, according to his office, described the agreements reached in Washington D.C. on August 8 as a significant event on the path to ensuring peace in the region, updating those present about the ongoing discussions aimed at their implementation.
In the context of Armenia's foreign and security policy, Ararat Mirzoyan presented the government’s viewpoint on strengthening democratic institutions and resilience in the dynamically developing world, stability in the South Caucasus, as well as the development of bilateral relations in various directions.
The parties also exchanged views on international developments.
Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan also met with the delegation today and presented the government’s defense reforms, emphasizing the important role of NATO in this respect.
