
Armenian President, Bartholmew I Discuss Preserving Christian Cultural Heritage
Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I met today in New York and discussed how the two sides can cooperate preserve Christian cultural heritage.
Bartholomew I is regarded as the primus inter pares (first among equals) in the Eastern Orthodox Church, and as a spiritual leader of the approximately 300 million Eastern Orthodox Christians worldwide.
Khachaturyan travelled to the U.S. to attend the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly and the 2025 Concordia Annual Summit.
