Armenian Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan and U.K Ambassador to Armenia met today in Yerevan and discussed preparations for the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) to be held in Armenia in October 2026. 

The two also discussed prospects to cooperate in developing environmental monitoring, specifically, atmospheric air quality control capabilities in Armenia.
