Armenia’s Republic (Hanrapetutyun) Party has selected Aram Sargsyan as its candidate for the position of prime minister in June’s parliamentary election.

In a FB post today, Sargsyan, the party’s vice-chairman, said the country’s parliament needs members that fully profess Western values.

The party, described as pro-European, failed to win any seats in the National Assembly in the 2021 parliamentary election, garnering 3.04% of the popular vote.
