Armenian Deputy PM, EU Delegation Head Meet in Yerevan

Armenian Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan and Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, met today in Yerevan and discussed the May 4 European Political Community (EPC) Summit that will take place in Armenia.

The EU Delegation to Armenia was established in February 2012 to facilitate Armenia–European Union relations and officially represents the EU in Armenia.

Grigoryan, according to his office, said he hoped that this summit and the first-ever EU-Armenia summit that will also take place on May 4-5 in Yerevan will reflect the parties’ intention to continue the cooperative and mutually beneficial partnership to focus on Armenia’s integration into European transport, energy and digitalization networks, thereby contributing to regional peace and sustainable development.

The sides also touched upon the agendas of strengthening democratic and economic resilience and connectivity, highlighting the opportunities for the Armenian and EU private sectors to invest in strategic priority projects.
