Macron Awarded Armenia's "Order of Glory" Decoration
French President Emmanuel Macron was awarded the Order of Glory at a state diner today in Yerevan hosted by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan at the Presidential Palace.
The Order of Glory is a prestigious Armenian state decoration awarded for significant contributions to strengthening international relations, peace, human rights, and economic/cultural ties.
By a decree of President Khachaturyan, Macron received the award for his significant personal contribution to the strengthening and development of traditional friendly relations between Armenia and France and the expansion and deepening of cooperation between the two countries.
The leaders of the two countries exchanged toasts and touched upon Armenian-French relations and the prospects for their development.
