Armenian Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan and Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami met today in Yerevan and discussed issues  related to the extradition of wanted persons and the provision of legal assistance.

According to her office, Vardapetyan expressed condolences for the civilian deaths in Iran due to the U.S. and Israeli military strikes in the country, particularly the deaths of students at the Minab School on February 28.

Shirgholami emphasized the centuries-old close ties between the two friendly peoples based on mutual trust and appreciated the current level of cooperation between the prosecutors' offices of the two countries.
