Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during a telephone conversation today, marked the first anniversary of the Trump-brokered peace summit held in Washington on August 8, 2025 that concluded with a peace deal peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The two also discussed the implementation of the TRIPP route in accordance with the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, 2025.

During the phone conversation initiated by Pashinyan, the development of trade and economic ties between the two countries was emphasized as a tangible manifestation of the benefits of peace.

In this context, the sides noted the export of Azerbaijani oil products to Armenia, as well as the transportation of transit cargo through the territory of Azerbaijan to Armenia and from Armenia to other destinations.
