Is there are growing rat infestation problem in some Yerevan residential apartment buidings?

It would appear to be the case given that the Yerevan Municipality says it will be sending out teams of health inspectors to see if garbage is being properly discarded and removed; a major factor in vermin control.

The Municipality also says it will be using new and more effective pesticides to combat the problem.
