Partial Renovation of Sargis Barkhudaryan Art School Completed

CRONIMET Charity Foundation launched its new support project to the Art School N 2 named after Sargis Barkhudaryan in May 2012 providing to the musical instruments and some furniture. Moreover, considering the to the unsatisfactory condition of the school building and that classes were being organized in unfurnished rooms without minimally acceptable norms, affecting the educational process and even the health of children, the agreement with the school management has been reached to carry out partial renovation during summer.

Now the renovation works are over and the children have started the new school-year in much cleaner building. Almost AMD 13 million has been spent to renovate the entrance of the school, leaking roof, small hall and several classes. Children would be able to have their studies organized in clear classrooms, have their performances played in definitely better conditions. The young graduates of the Art school founded in 1973 would now be motivated for greater achievements in the area of music, art and sculpture. The Foundation believes that this cooperation would ensure adequate education conditions for children allowing them to uncover their potential, to organize annual concerts and performances and have greater audience for their art.

CRONIMET Charity Foundation support to the education institutions is ongoing process, leading to sustained and successful cooperation with the beneficiaries. As such, similar renovations projects in various parts of the country are underway, such as partial renovations at the Dilijan Children Care Boarding Institution, in Dilijan and partial renovation of Kapan N 3 Special Educational Complex, in Kapan, totaling to AMD 30 million and 70 million respectively.

CRONIMET Charity Foundation has been established in June 2011 having its main goal of supporting children and people in need throughout the country. The Founder of the CONIMET Charity Foundation is the German CRONIMET Mining AG.
