
Judge Grigoryan and Spouse: Small Salaries, Big Bank Accounts
Judge Vladimir Grigoryan, who sits on the bench at the Erebouni and Noubarashen District Court, has flown under the radar of the press for some time.
Thus, many readers will be surprised to hear that the judge and his wife are quite well-off financially.
A peak at Judge Grigoryan’s 2011 financial disclosure reveals that he purchased a piece of real estate for 44.832 million AMD and then sold it for 31.445 million later in the year.
Judge Grigoryan reported 43.329 million AMD in revenue for the year, of which 4,592,146 was wages, 7.292 million was his pension, and 31.445 million derived from the land sale.
He had 50.950 million AMD in the bank which rose to 60.500 million by year’s end.
Judge Grigoryan’s wife, Mariam Minasyan, only reported 1.165 million AMD in revenue for 2011, but had 69 million in bank deposits.
