Young Judge: Small Salary, Big Bank Deposit
Aghasi Gharibyan was appointed a RA Administrative Court judge by presidential decree on December 13, 2010.
The 31 year-old judge, son of Vanadzor Mayor Samvel Gharibyan, only declared 4,969,724 AMD ($12,270) in salary revenue for 2011, bit had more than seven times as much, 38 million AMD, in the bank.
The judge’s wife Gayaneh declared 19.246 million AMD in revenue, of which 14.362 was from rental income. She declared 25 million AMD in the bank.
