During the January 1 to 7 holiday season, the South Caucasus Railway carried more than 7.5 thousand passengers. During that period, 560 passengers travelled the international trains Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan route and the domestic trains transported more than 7,000.

In the first days of New Year domestic routes were especially popular. Yesterday, an additional train serving the Gyumri-Yerevan route was launched.
