WiFi Internet Test Launch in Armenia's Buses

Starting today, 5 buses in Yerevan will be equipped with free wi-fi internet, in a pilot project by the Yerevan Municipality and Orange. Five buses on mainly students routes are now equipped with Orange MyFi 3G/wi-fi modems which create a mobile wi-fi zone and allow to connect simultaneously 5 devices: smartphones, netbooks, tablets etc.

Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO, said, "This is an interesting and important project for us, as it will allow us to test our MyFi service and its possibilities in different areas of the city, and from the other hand it will make our services more accessible. I hope that Yerevan inhabitants will like this opportunity of mobile w-fi and they will profit from the time spent in the bus to make it more interesting. If the pilot project is successful, we will think about wi-fi-izing more buses".
