Chairman of Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission Tigran Moukouchyan today met with the election observation mission of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly.

Mission head Alexander Stoyangolo said that another 30-35 observers will arrive in Armenia in the coming days.

Stoyangolo said that according to a preliminary review, Armenia’s Electoral Code has all prerequisites for organizing and conducting the elections in full compliance with international principles and democratic norms.

Tigran Moukouchyan stressed the importance of the transparency of electoral process in order to raise the level of public trust.
