The government of Armenia today adopted a plan to develop the southern town of Goris as a center of tourism.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated that Goris has all the prerequisites – unique geography, rich cultural and historical legacy – for such a program to succeed.

Sargsyan also called for the establishment of a Zangezour Informational Center in the town to promote the region as a whole.
