A group of citizens gathered today in one of the auditoriums of Yerevan’s Dramatic Theater in what they described as a “Meeting of RA Citizens”.

Speakers presented their views regarding the February 18 presidential election and called for the creation of a civil front based on the example of several European nations.

Organizers said that while they supported no political party, members of exisiting [parties were welcome to join them.

They noted that the February 18 election would not spell the end of the world and that the civil front is committed to staging a long-term struggle.
