Adreas Ghoukasyan: "I'll end my hunger strike after international observers publish their findings"

From his makeshift tent where he’s been on hunger strike for the past 29 days, presidential candidate Andreas Ghoukasyan told Hetq that he will not file a protest regarding the election outcome with the Constitutional Court.

Ghoukasyan says that the court cannot be trusted to follow up on reports of bribe giving and that voters are being pressured to cast their ballots for a certain candidate.

The candidate says that what is important is not the election result itself but how the process will be evaluated by the international observers monitoring it.

“I will stop my hunger strike only after the observers summarize their findings and publish them,” noted Ghoukasyan.
