Today, Raffi Hovannisian met with Prosperous Armenia Party President Gagik Tsarukyan to discuss the post-election situation in Armenia.

Hovannisian reiterated his position that the February 18 election results are fraudulent and do not represent the will of the people

Tsarukyan stated that he and his party were also concerned regarding the current situation in Armenia and stressed the need to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Tsarukyan said that further attempts by the regime to violate the dignity of the people would further exacerbate the situation.

The Prosperous Armenia Party leader reaffirmed that he and his organization had and will continued to side with the people,

The two sides agreed to cooperate in overcoming the current political crisis, including proposing extraordinary solutions.
