FM Nalbandian Welcomes NATO's Special Representative
Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian today met with James Appathura, newly appointed Special Representative of the NATO Secretary General for the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
Minister Nalbandian congratulated James Appathura on assuming the new post and expressed the hope that he would contribute to the development of Armenia-NATO cooperation.
During the meeting the sides discussed a number of issues on the agenda of Armenia-NATO partnership, particularly cooperation within the framework of the Partnership for Peace Program, the Euro Atlantic Partnership Council and the Individual Partnership Action Plan.
Minister Nalbandian apprised Mr. Appathura of the latest developments in the process of settlement of the Karabakh conflict, particularly the results of the Kazan meeting.
