Nikol Pashinyan - Regime Change Possible in 24 Hours

HAK opposition activist Nikol Pashinyan, recently released from jail under a general amnesty, visited Shirak Marz and spoke to a crowd of supporters and curious onlookers.

The fiery Pashinyan thanked those assembled for their untiring struggle which, among other results, led to his release. He declared that more victories for the opposition were on the way and urged the crowd to remain steadfast.

Speaking about the dialog now being discussed between the government and HAK, Pashinyan said this would be the last opportunity to avoid regime change through confrontation.

He also assured supporters that HAK had not modified or softened its demands in terms of political strategy, even though the tactics might have.

Pashinyan said that regime change was inevitable; noting that if 700,000 people assembled in Freedom Square the government would fall within 24 hours.

If 500,000 showed up it would take one week.

Regime change would drag on for three months if only 250,000 filled the Square, Pashinyan predicted.
