Yerkir.am reports that the body of Hrach Mouradyan, the village mayor of Proshyan (Kotayk) was found earlier this morning near his office.

A preliminary investigation points to murder. Police have cordoned off the area.

Mouradyan fought in the Artsakh War and had served as Proshyan mayor for many years.
