After a meeting of the Executive Board of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan announced that Tigran Sargsyan had been re-nominated to the post.

Republican Party spokesman Edward Sharmazanov informed Hetq as to the re-nomination.

Whilst PM Sargsyan has twenty days to form a new government, Serzh Sargsyan has suggested that Edward Nalbandyan and Seyran Ohanyan continue as foreign minister and defense minister, respectively.
