
Controversial Intelligence Head in Dink Case Gets Promoted
Engin Dinc, the former Trabzon intelligence chief who has been accused of obstructing justice in the Hrant Dink case, has been selected as the new National Police Chief of Turkey.
In 2008, Dink family lawyers had filed an appeal with the Istanbul chief prosecutor regarding seven policemen, including Dinc.
He was later acquitted of the charges.
