A public gathering in support of jailed Javakhk Armenian activist Vahagn Chakhalyan, and in defense of the rights of Armenians in the region, will take place tomorrow, July 8, at 7pm, at the Yerevan Chamber Music Hall.

The Javakhk-Armenians Defense Council urges all concerned Armenians to attend tomorrow's gathering and points out that as of July 21, Chakhalyan will have spent 3 years of a ten year sentence handed down by a Georgian court on trumped up charges.
