"Yerevan Park" to be Constructed in Riga
A delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the Saint Grigor Lousavorich Armenian Church in the Latvian capital of Riga.
Parish priest Father Khosrov Stepanyan briefed Margaryan on the history of the church built consecrated in 2011.
A site near the church will be turned into a park named after Yerevan, Armenia’s capital. The park will be built jointly by the Riga Municipality and the local Armenian community.
