Armenian Independence Day Marked in Romania
Celebrations marking the 22nd anniversary of Armenian independence continue in the Romanian capital of Bucharest and other towns with a sizeable Armenian presence.
Commemorating Armenian Independence Day has become a tradition in the towns of Roman, Botosani, Iași and Constanța.
Last year, Armenia’s Dilijan and Romania’s town of Roman were officially declared sister cities.
