505 Convicts Released So Far Under General Amnesty

The Ministry of Justice has announced that 505 convicts have so far been released from Armenia's jails under provisions of the October 3 general amnesty passed by the National Assembly on October 3.

The latest group of 43 inmates was released on October 11.

The amnesty was passed in conjunction with the 22nd anniversary of Armenia’s independence.
