Armenia Takes on Italy Tonight in World Cup Qualifier
Armenia takes on Italy tonight in its Round 1 qualifying match in Group B for the 2014 World Cup.
Armenia is presently in 4th place in the group with 12 points, having won four games and losing five.
Italy tops the group with 21 points, followed by Bulgaria and Denmark with 13 points each.
For Armenia to advance, a highly unlikely scenario, the Czechs and Bulgarians would have to tie in their upcoming match, Malta would have to beat the Danes, and of course, Armenia needs to beat Italy.
In the first encounter between Italy and Armenia in Yerevan, the European champions came out on top 3-1.
