RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian today met with the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Bernard Fassier, Robert Bradtke and Igor Popov, and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk, who have arrived in Yerevan as part of a regional visit.

During the meeting the sides continued the discussions on the steps to be taken to achieve progress in the negotiations on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

The mediators briefed the FM Nalbandian on their impressions from the meetings in Baku.

Touching upon the statements of Azerbaijani officials on proceeding to the elaboration of a peace treaty without coming to an agreement on the Basic Principles, Edward Nalbandian said this contradicts the logic of the negotiation process and the position of the mediators.
