Fire Destroys Simonyan House in Lusadzor: Donations Needed to Rebuild
On September 9, an incident happened in the village Lusadzor in the region of Tavush.
At 17:30, a fire broke out in the house of Atom Simonyan. It was burnt beyond repair in a few minutesThe media wrote about that incident a lot.
Only the three children and 63-year-old disabled mother of Atom Simonyan, Seda Simonyan, were saved. And what has remained from the house, you can see in the photos. Now they live in their relative's house, who is in Russia, but will soon return to Armenia with his family.
So there is nowhere for the family to stay.
Atom's mother, Mrs. Seda, who has just had an operation of the spine, now needs care and treatment. But the family has only one desire, to see their house standing in its place again. The youingest member of the family, five-year-old Zaven, is dreaming of it, too (he was crying all night long, after the fire)
Atom and his wife don't have a permanent job. In order to rebuild their house, they are seeking the help of generous, giving people like you.
The bank refused to issue a long-term loan to the family, arguing that Artom and his wife are unemployed. The bank noted that they only issue loans to young people (Atom Simonyan is 33 years old).
