The “Pourpik” puppet theater travelled to the Akhalkalak village school of Koulikam on November18 and delighted the children with a performance of “The Greedy Woodcutter”.

The puppet theater, launched in 2004 at the initiative  Liana Khloyan and Vicar-General of Javakhk  Archimandrite Babken Salbiyan, has toured Tbilisi and communities in the Armenian populated region ever since.

The main purpose of "Pourpik"   is to promote the strengthening of the Armenian Church in Javakhk through theater performances.
