Government Rejects Child Benefits for Jobless Moms

The Armenian government today rejected a draft bill that would provide childcare benefits to unemployed mothers as well as working parents.

As the law now stands, working parents can receive benefits until the child reaches two.

The government says the program would cost an additional 16 billion AMD which hasn’t been planned for in the 2014 draft budget.

This is beyond disgusting. These theives sit there in the expensive suits paid for by money stolen from the people of Armenia and deny a pittance of a payment to women in desperate situations. How can they live with themselves and if any of them go to Church - i hope they are all struck down by the wrath of God. The members of government of this country are amongst the scum of the world in terms of honesty, integrity and morality.
