Samvel Karapetyan, owner of the multi-million dollar Tashir Group is said to own a large tract of land in the Serebryany Bor (Silver Pine Forest) protected natural area in the northwest of Moscow. 

This is according to a published report in the Russian newspaper Vedomosti. 

It is a huge forest and park area in a bend of the Moskva River that features Moscow's most popular beaches. 

Since Soviet times, the resort area has boasted numerous cottages for Russian senior officials and foreign diplomats.
