Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today met with Philippe Lefort, the European Union’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.

Mr. Lefort, whose term of office has expired, came to Yerevan to say farewell to Sargsyan.

The Armenian president thanked Lefort for his efforts to strengthen cooperation between the EU and Armenia and wished him success in his future endeavors.
