Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili Comes to Armenia on Official Visit
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili on February 27 will come to the Republic of Armenia on an official two-day visit upon Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's invitation.
Planned during the two-day visit are meetings with the country's top leaders and His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
After private talks between the two presidents and then in an enlarged format, between members of the two countries' delegations, Sargsyan and Margvelashvili will speak to the media about the outcome of their negotiations.
The Georgian president on February 27 will visit the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial Complex, placing a wreath at the monument to commemorate and pay his respects to the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
