Polish Embassy in Yerevan Will Represent Switzerland Regarding Visas

As of March 1, 2014 the Embassy of Poland in Yerevan will represent Switzerland regarding visa issuance for Armenian nationals, as well as third country citizens legally residing in Armenia.

The representation concerns only Schengen visas (type C) enabling maximum 90-day stay within 180-day period, excluding national visas (type D).

Accordingly, as from March 1, 2014 Armenian nationals intending to travel to Switzerland for up to 90 days should apply for visas at the Embassy of  Poland in Yerevan and not at the Embassy of Switzerland in Tbilisi.

On January 27, 2014 in Warsaw Foreign Minister of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski and President of the Swiss Confederation Didier Burkhalter signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Federal Council of the Swiss Confederation on Mutual Representation in the Process of Examining Visa Applications and Issuing Visas.
