The Armenian National Congress (HAK) has publicly condemned what it describes as yet another illegal police assault against peaceful HAK supporters who were handing out leaflets regarding the upcoming August 2 opposition rally.

HAK claims that the police employees today prevented HAK activists from distributing their leaflets by the use of physical force.

The opposition alliance says it has filed a complaint with the RA General Prosecutor's Office.
