"No to the Pension System": Protesters Advance on Finance Ministry in Yerevan

Voicing their opposition to the mandatory pension system in Armenia, several hundred protesters pushed their way to the front of the Ministry of Finance despite the best efforts of a sizeable police presence.

As we go to press, the crowd is demanding a meeting with the minister.

The police have set up a cordon in front of the entrance lest the protesters storm the ministry.
