At today's 10th meeting of the RoA Presidential Council on Nuclear Energy Safety, Chairman Adolf Birkhofer congratulated the governement of Armenia with the progress registered in the development of the energy system in the country. The German expert stated that, "Due to the efforts of the government and the skills of the specialists a system has been created that has resulted in the highest levels of safety for the Armenian nuclear power plant. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan thanked the Council for insuring that country's enery infrastructure met the highest of international safety standards.
