Former President of Parliament Shrugs Off Charges of "Emotionalism"

Today, Tigran Torosyan, former President of the ROA National Assembly and now an independent Deputy in the Parliament reacted to the statement by Galust Sahakyan and three other Republican Party Deputies that the reason for Mr. Torosyan's resignation from the position he once held was due to his "emotional state".

Mr. Torosyan stated that people aren't robots and thus they must work with their hearts in addition to their minds. "This is the normal condition for people" he said and noted that the process had continued for 4-5 months and even the most emotional of individuals could have comfortably assessed the situation and made a decision.

Mr. Torosyan noted that he was always composed before the press and this just proves that statements regarding his emotional state are just empty rhetoric. "I can calmly relate to everything", he stated. He emphasized the fact that while there is a preponderance of Republican Party members in the National Assembly most did not comment on his resignation. "This fact says a lot" he noted and shrugged off such statements as the work of a few individuals with scores to settle.
