According to statistics of the NKR Cadastre Committee, during the first nine months of 2008 the average price of one square meter of apartment space in Stepanakert rose 81.8% over the same period last year to hit $793. In Shushi, prices slightly more than doubled to hit an average price of $192. Price rises were also reported in Askeran (57.8%), Martuni (48.5%), Martakert (48.3%) and Hadrut (38.6%).
