According to Press Office of the NKR Defense Ministry, an Azeri military unit breached the south-eastern section of the conflict zone and attempted to make its way towards a position held by NKR border guards in the direction of Ashagh Seyidahmedli. A thirty minute firefight ensued after which enemy forces retreated, leaving one dead at the battle site. NKR forces suffered no causalities. This is the most serious breach by Azeri forces along the conflict zone after the events of March 3-4 of this year that took place in the vicinity of Levonarkh in the Martakert region.
