725 Jobs to be Slashed at Deno Gold
Despite the fact that Deno Gold’s General Manager Robert Falletta told a visiting delegation of Ministers that he would consult with the plant’s parent company, the Canadian-based Dandee Precious Metals (DPM), in order to find ways to avert job cuts, it appears that DPM has already filed two reports dated November 11th with the Kapan Regional Employment Center.
The first letter explains that due to changes in production levels and other production necessities the work force would be cut by 10%. In the second letter, sent several hours later, Mr. Falletta specifies the number of jobs to be cut at 725.
