Today, the Court of Appeals was to have begun a review of the petition made by Grigor Igityan, who was sentenced to 4 and a half years imprisonment by the Kentron and Nork Marash Court after being found guilty for swindling American-Armenian benefactors George and Carolann Najarian out of money and property. However, legal counsel for the defendant never appeared at the Court and thus the case was postponed till November 17th. Mr. Igityan remains free on his own recognizance.
