“Adnaklasnik” Website to Charge Customers

In the future, to register at the “Adnaklasnik” website a person will have to send a SMS message which, according to the “iToday.ru” website will cost 350-400 drams. Nikita Sherman, the Director of the “Adnaklasnik” site says the reason behind making it a paid site is basically the flood of spam received and that there was no other way to combat the scourge. By paying a monthly fee of 1,700 drams the on-line presence of visitors to the site will remain concealed to others. For 1,200 one will be able to erase poor photo reviews and for another 1,200 one will be able to increase the number of photos. Naturally, this move has ruffled the feathers of website visitors. “I will definitely no longer enter the site because I’m not willing to pay the money. Instead I’ll go to the café with my friends”, says Samvel Antanyan. Another visitor to the site, Marina Markosyan, says that all this is just another way to make money since other such social sites are able to successfully confront the spam problem. Others don’t believe that “Adnaklasnik” will be a paid site. “These rumors have been circulating for a few months. They’re all lies. Such sites will never charge for their services.” says Lilit Aleksanyan. Hayk Mkrtoumyan, another site regular, believes that the new changes will have a positive effect. “It’s a correct decision. Now when I enter the site with family mebers I won’t be worried that a lewd naked picture will pop up.”
